More Press Access to Ahmadinejad than Palin

Andrew Sullivan points out today that:

Since Sarah Palin was selected for the vice-presidential nomination, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has given more press conferences than she has. That's the country John McCain believes in.

And, if you missed Campbell Brown's pointed (but oh so true) rant yesterday, check her out calling McCain's camp on their sexist, kid-glove treatment of Palin and the Press...

There is a reason the McCain camp is shielding Palin and it's not because she is a delicate flower, it is because she is a liability to his campaign. Deep down inside, he is saying, "Oh shit, I picked a running mate who does not have the experience or education that a VP should have. Oh well, all I know is that she is woman and she can be my puppet, put a gag in her mouth for now." Shame on you Johnny boy!
