The difference between Obama and (McCain)-Palin should not be measured in experience as much as in the thoughtfulness and care with which they entered into the decision to work for change in this country.
Just weeks before she "didn't blink" in accepting the request to serve as McCain's running mate, Palin didn't know "what exactly the Vice President does every day". Obama, who has a clear record on some of the most pressing issues of our time and has made his policy objectives clear in speeches and print for years, entered into his run for President thoughtfully, by listening to the cares and concerns of Americans.
It scares me that Palin "didn't blink" in accepting a job she didn't understand but that has dire and immediate consequences for all of us.
